How soon can you have a hysterectomy?

I am 13 months post op and I had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and it feels like I had my gastric bypass all over again. I couldn't eat, drink etc. I had to eat like I did when I first got my bypass. My question is, was it too soon to have a hysterectomy or any other kind of surgery at this point? It sure seemed that way. I really suffered with this surgery, not only because of the pain of the surgery but dealing with the eating issues and hydration was awful. Thank you.
