Can I drink as much as I like after the operation and I go on with my life ?

Thank you all so much for the answer to my question about my problem with dry mouth. I am afraid I wasn't clear in my question. So I will try again. After my operation is over and I go home. Will I have a limit to what I can drink. Because I have a really dry mouth from my meds and am not sure if I can carry a water around with me. Can you drink too much?
