What changes has WLS had on your socializing?

I will be scheduling my lapRNY very soon. My social life is mainly going for dinner or drinks with friends ( I live in Africa so movies, concerts, etc. are not options). I am concerned that the surgery will limit my socializing. Will I be able to eat not a soupt to nuts meal but has anyone found this difficult?
