how can you tell if port has moved or is not connected to outer wall

I had surgery in mexico and could feel my port but i am 4 weeks out and can not feel it anymore. I am going to a place in atlanta to get my fill. but it will be at 8 weeks not 6. should i get it checked out. I don't know if it could hurt me if it is not attached. I have a realize band
