Two weeks post op from Surgery

I am now two weeks out from my Gastric Bypass and I am on Phase II of the diet, where I only eat one protein source for a meal. IE: I can have carnation (sugar free breakfast drink for breaksfast), egg, sugar free pudding, cream soup, fat free skim milk or broth that I like. The other things I can I have I do not like. At first I was doing my meals like I was being served in the hospital with broth, jello, and pudding and only eating a portion of each. (each serving was only 4 ouces). Then New Years Eve I was incredibly hungry and I ate my whole portion of my egg and my portion of pudding. I made my self stop but was still hungry. I waited my half hour and got my 4 ounces of water. Then I re looked at my instructions and decided that I should only be eating one protein source at meal time. So I have since change this around but I can now eat my whole protein source. Is this normal at this stage? Sometimes I am still hungry or at least I think I am. I don't think it is gas bubbles.... I am working really hard to not give into the head games and to concentrate on my diet and my fluid intake. I will discuss all this with my doctor next week but I was wondering if this is a normal thing I am going through.
