Anyone on BCBSNC Blue Care insurance? How hard to get approved? At min. qualif...

I am going through the process, all the pre-consult appts. I BCBSNC and have heard that it is fairly easy to get approved through them. I am wanting to have the RNY and am 5'4" and 225 lb. (BM 38.5) I have other health complications, B/P and Sleep Apnea with lots of other health problems in my family that i am at risk of. My mom had this surgery 2+ years ago and was approved through her disability.There have been people who say i don't need the surgery, because they say i don't weigh enough. I, however am miserable and am tired of fighting a losing battle. I know of others who weighed less and had it done. Anyone else had similar situation and was approved through same insurance?
