Lactating?

This question is 'off topic' but I need to get a broad range of responses so please allow my question. I'm 3 years post op WLS and also several reconstructive surgeries, including a breast lift 2 years ago. I'm 55 years old and my son/daughter in law just had a baby boy. I'm very close to him and have had constant pain in only one breast ever since he was born. Doctor said it was mastitis but has never seen this in an older woman but usually in breast-feeding mothers. I've been on Keflex for 3 weeks... no response. Just spent 4 days in the hospital on a broader range antibiotic... no response. I'm wondering if the breast lift squeezed all the tissue together and the milk is stuck without a way to get out. I know this sounds odd. Please respond if you have any info that would help me. Breast is swollen, red and leaking 'fluid' (milk?) No cancer, cysts or abcesses present. Thanks for your time. Vicki
