Appeal sent to Ins. company-has almost been 30 days-is this a good or bad sign?

I was denied by my insurance company (Aetna PPO) and an Appeal has been sent almost a month ago. I have not heard anything yet. I know they have 30 days to respond....... is this a good or bad sign that they haven't responded yet? I guess they are going to delay as long as possible?
