How do you figure the 6 month supervised diet?

OK, I just saw on someones profile that they were denied by their insurance because of having the 6 month diet with the first visit in May and the last visit in Oct. Ok, that has me worried cause my first visit with diet dr was in June and last visit was in Nov. I had called the bariatric dr's office and asked them if I needed one more month (Dec.) and they said "no" that the diet sr has to have documented in medical record for 6 months. But if you think about it, it is only 5 months thinking June to July is one month,July to August being 2 months, Aug. to Sept 3 months, Sept to Oct. 4 months, THEN Oct. to Nov. 5 months.....nov. to Dec would be the 6th month ..am I right??? I am so scared I am going to be denied,someone please tell me something good..LOL
