IS IT SAFE TO HAVE A BABY AFTER HAVING THIS SURGERY?
I AM 35 YRS OLD AND HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED W/ PCOS AND TYPE II DIABETES...PCOS MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOSE WEIGHT AND HAVE A SUCESSFUL PREGNANCY (IT CAUSES INFERTILITY). I AM 120 LBS OVERWIGHT AND I TAKE 2000 MGS OF GLUCOHPAGE A DAY FOR MY DIABETES AND I AM ON MY 8 MONTH OF INFERTILITY PILLS. I NEED TO GET THE WEIGHT OFF IN ORDER TO GET PREGNANT AND NOT MISCARRY AGAIN...UNFORTUNATELY, THE PCOS CAUSES THE DIABETES AND WEIGHT GAIN AND I CAN'T GET RID OF THE PCOS UNTIL I LOSE WEIGHT. DO U SEE THE CATCH 22 THAT I AM IN? I AM JUST WORRIED THAT ONCE I HAVE THIS SURGERY I WON'T BE ABLE TO HAVE A CHILD...HAS ANYONE HAD A SUCCESSFUL PREGNANCY? AND DO U KNOW OF ANY COMPLICATIONS? I AM REALLY AT A CROSSROAD HERE AND I DO NOT KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN.
