'Multidisciplinary Day'

I am scheduled for my 'multidisciplinary day' on the 22nd of June. I'm wondering for those who KNOW what this is & have gone through this mandatory process before surgery if anyone can tell me what was it was like & how soon after that you had your surgery for. In case you are wondering what 'multidisciplinary day' is; it's when one has to go for chest & UGI x-ray, lab & EKG, meet with the dietitian & exercise specialists & with the surgeon. Here in my area in Upper MI its called 'multidisciplinary day'. Any help is greatly appreciated!
