Should you hesitate to have surgery?

Hi, I just want to let those considering surgery to know that I had RNY surgery one year ago and would not hesitate for one minute to have WLS. I just wanted to celebrate my surgiversary with all the WLS folks on this OH/forum. I want to thank you all for all the help, information and support prior to surgery and especially after surgery. I had RNY surgery one year ago with Dr. Nohr in Alberta. I had to travel from Manitoba to Alberta to have this done. My highest weight ever was 318.8 lbs in 2007. Just prior to surgery in March 2008, I weighed 286 lbs and now one year later I am 148 lbs. I have lost about 52 " in the breast/waist/hip area. I am down from a size 4/5X to a size 12/14. At six months I was in onderland, at 7 months I lost 100 lbs. I have no regrets. I feel healthy and very very happy!
