Anyone who waited the 1-2 years to get pregnant after surgery

I'm looking for anyone who was unable to get pregnant before surgery, waited the 1-2 years and was able to get pregnant afterwards. I've read alot of people getting pregnant soon after surgery by accident, and was wondering if that was because it is easier right after surgery, it seems many Dr.s feel we may be more fertile after surgery, but does that continue long term. The reason I'm asking is me and my husband would love to have another child, I will wait at least 1 year after my surgery to try, but after everything "calms down" is it harder to get pregnant?
