has anyone had their belly button pierced after a tummy tuck?

I had mine pierced 2 times now and my body ends up rejecting it, my belly button was removed and placed back on surgically at the time of my tummy tuck... this time I have had the ring in for almost 5 months, it was fine the first few months. now it seems like the skin is wearing away, can anyone help??
