My ins. is asking why I have gained my weight back after having had stapling in 1982

I want to have the stapling changed to RNY and I am having a difficuilt time getting insurance (Cigna PPO)to approve. They want reasons and documentation over the past years why the stapling did not work (it did for about 4 years), what do I send them???
