How can I get some sleep?
Hi all, I'm now about 3.5 months out from my RNY and feeling GREAT... aside from sleepiness. Up to about a month ago I was sleeping through the night (not even waking up fully for bathroom breaks) for the first time in years and loving it. Now it's almost like my body thinks it can recharge in half the time, and I have too much energy to settle down for the whole night. It takes a while for me to get to sleep and I always wake up while it's still dark out and again at least an hour or two before my alarm goes off. More and more often it's taking longer for me to get back to sleep, or else I can't at all after the second time. I've tried working out longer, wearing myself out, no luck. My sister, who had her RNY two weeks after mine is also having trouble sleeping. Is this the norm? Can anyone recommended something to help with it? I have my (belated due to snow) 3-month check-up on Friday so will be talking to my surgeon then.
