I had rny 5 days ago & now there is blood in my urine. Is this normal?

Could this be a result of having had a catheter for a couple of days while in the hospital? My urine looks yellow, but when I wipe there's lots of blood on the tissue (and it's not menstrual blood). Also, I do not have any pain when I go to the restroom so I don't think that it is a bladder and/or kidney infection.
