RNY and what goes along with it?

Can you also not drink with this procedure while you eat? I am 23 and have asked a few ?'s on here...I thought I wanted the Lap Band but now I am confused. I need a whole bunch of opinions on the RNY! PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thank You all in advance!
