Going off Hormones..What about thryoid hormones??? Synthroid?

I do not have a thyroid as I have thryoid cancer. So I am wondering if I should not take my synthroid? I got an email just now, and was told to go off all hormones immediately. Well it is the weekend, and I can't get ahold of anyone to ask and not sure what to do. Anyone else have had to go off their synthroid??
