BAck PAIN

My Back has been hurting the last few days. But it has gotten alot worse today. Has anyone had this is it normal? I hate going to the doctor. also I just started a new job hard to take time off right now. The pain is in the middle of my back. Not in my bra line a little lower than that. It's not like a back pain either its like something else so it is making my back hurt. Thanks for any info I can get,with out having to go to the doctor.
