ventral hernia affecting eating. help please

hi, my pcp thinks I have a ventral hernia and I can't eat much (I'm 3 yrs post open rny) as my pouch gets hard and uncomfortable and spasms. I live in New Zealand so a lot of protein shakes powders, etc don't exist here so does anyone have any food ideas,max protein for sml amount?As its christmas all surgeons away for summer break and may be 4-5 weeks before I can see mine to determine exactly what the prob is
