Need info on Dr. Mal Fobi--Fobi Pouch

I live in Canada and seen Dr. Fobi on the Roseanne show where he talked about his procedure...My doctor is trying to find info on him, as I am considering having this doen, but I'd really like to have that specific procedure done as I heard him talk about it and he madw sense and seemed trustworthy. Has anyone had this procedure? Is it the same as a gastric bypass? Any information abou him or the procedure would be greatly appreciated. Tammy
