Pain under right rib cage w/ eating

I am having pain sometimes when I eat but it's not in my pouch area. The pain is located right below my right rib cage area and does NOT radiate to the back. I thought it might be dumping but when I saw my Doc he said that since I'm being anal about the sugar free thing that it's probably not that. Any ideas?? I still have a gall bladder but I've never had any issues with it before and it's not steady, it's only w/ certain foods. I am 18 days out and this is the ONLY pain I'm having. Thank God!
