Help with Insurance

I'm 23 years old from South Carolina. I have no health insurance and I was wondering which insurance might be the best to get a policy with. My job offers BCBS, but my boss informed me that they no longer cover the surgery. I have struggled with weight for as long as I can remember and I really do not want to go to Mexico to have this done. I've heard that Medicaid will pay all but $250.00 for it from a nurse in a nearby county. I could really use some advice on this. Looking forward to your comments/suggestions! Mallory
