How long did you wait until going to the tanning bed?

Being an aesthetician I know it's not good for you, but I'm in a wedding soon wearing a cocktail length dress and was wondering how long I should wait to do the tanning bed. I'm 3 1/2 post op from lap rny, and could cover up my stomach so it didn't effect my incisions.
