Nausea & dry heaving

My surgery was 2/2/09, I have been sick ever since. The were giving me zolfram in the hospital & not helping at all. They gave me phenergen at 11 pm and then sent me home. That was the best I had felt all day. When I got up the next morning and since then I have been sick. I have called my drs. office 2 or 3 times and I am getting no response. Ended up in the er last night for over 3 hours. the dr there did blood work, ct scan, and then gave me an iv with fluids along with phenergan for about an hour. Felt better than I have all week. Why does my dr. not want me to have the better of the meds & have i made the biggest mistake of my life? I want a healthier life but at what expense?
