Has anyone else had excessive saliva at bedtime?

I am 3 mos. post-op and when I go to bed at night my mouth waters terribly for about 5- 10 minutes. So much so that I can't or don't want to swallow all the saliva produced so I take a dry clean wash cloth with me and get rid of the excess into it. After the watering subsides I am off to sleep. This is a nightly ritual. I am wondering if this is common and if I will get over this. I am not bothered in the day time with this problem but of course I am drinking a lot during the day.
