Does the 5 day pouch test work on someone who is 6 years post op?

I am 6 yrs post op. I have gained back about 35 pounds and am considering the 5 day pouch test. I have read about the pouch test. But, no one has mentioned how far post op they are. Does this work the same for someone who is 6 mos or 6 years post op?
