Irritable Bowl Problems?

Has anyone that's been banded suffer from irritable bowl. My former internist said that I seem to have most of the symptoms of the condition, although I was never tested for it. Will this affect how the gastro MD or the surgeon make their determination as to who is or is not eligible for the Lap Band ? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Donna S.
