I am Obese, BMI 30....why do I have to gain...to be a Canidate?

I wasn't sad and depressed emotionally, till I approached 3 good Bypass surgery doctors, and was flatly turned down for this operation. I am unhealthy due to this weight...I am 5'7...202 lbs. and have health troubles now due to this weight. What do I have to do to get a doctor to do this...get worse health wise, then I already am?
