UHC Choice Plus (exclusion of Surgical and non-surgical treatment of obesity)

I was wondering if anyone else has this exclusion on their health insurance policy? It seems kind of vague to me in a few different ways. Has anyone had the surgery for other reasons than Weight Loss such as for sleep apnea, high blood pressure or other reasons? Can you employer ask that this exclusion be waived? Any help would be appreciated.
