Has anyone had blood pressure come back

I am 2 years 1 month post op RNY and have been off meds for 2 years now. Recently my blood pressure rose so high that I had to go to ER and am now back on meds. I am thankful to get under control just so confused after I lost about 130 lbs why now is it coming back? Also my blood sugar is at 100 where before it was in the 70's and 80's
