What to eat after surgery

I am hoping to have surgery soon (if approved by the insurance). With this as my prayer, I am trying to get information on what to expect immediately after surgery. What will I be recommended to eat? I am just looking for suggestions for when I return to work as well. Any recipes, suggestions???? I appreciate any help.
