Waiting for approval, may be changing ins. soon. What do I do?

My husband may be changing employers soon. When this happens I'll be 60 days without insurance. I'm waiting for approval from BCBS of MI, I'm figuring it will be about 6 weeks before he changes jobs I'm hoping this will be enough time to get approved and have surgery. I feel like I can't wait any longer. I went for psych eval yesterday. Anyone have any advise???
