I have pain in my stomach, feels like a rubber band snapping me.

I had gastric Bypass surgery March 2009, seems to be pretty successful but now I'm experincing a pain in my stomach, it's on the lower left side, feels like a rubber band snapping me internally, the pain doesn't last long,and I'm wondering if this is something I should be worried about.
