Decreasing T score on Dexa scan post RNY
After 1 year revision of RNY, my dexa scan t score has gone down. My Dr. says that's not unusual as the lower weight means bones don't have to support as much weight so density might change. ! Does this sound right?? Also, is there a problem taking calcium pills if you have an ulcer? Do Dr.s ever respond to any of these questions anywhere on this board? Any help appreciated.
