I am planning a wedding for my sister.
We are planning her wedding dinner in the buffet. A few of our guests have had weight loss surgery and one is refusing to go because she won't eat $20 worth of food. A friend said she once heard that if you have had this surgery, and can get a note from your doctor, perhaps the buffet will only charge the child's rate for that particular diner. Does anyone know if this is true. I would love to be able to tell our guests this is an option, because I don't really blame them for not wanting to pay full cost for a meal they can't eat that much of.
