Having a endoscopy done

Hi, I wanted to hear from anyone who has has this endoscopy done so I know what to expect. I am a little nervous about it. My surgeon ordered one due to my being almost 5 years out and suddenly develping belly and upper right quadrant pain as well as nausa. Next week I am having the CT scan of the upper body and abdomin done. I have a strong gag reflex and worried about how they perform this and will I feel anything? Also what kind of risk is involved having this done? Thank you.
