I need some help.

I had my surgery date on december 19th, the night before I woke up from a nap and got extremely dizzy and disorientated and came close to blacking out, that scared me immensely, a few hours later I got horrible pains in my stomache and the doctor on call said it was an allergic reaction to the pills, now I know I NEED this surgery but its just a bit hard for me, I don't really have much support for it, my parents keep down talking it, and telling me I don't need it and I shouldnt get it, I could use some advice, has anyone else had an episode like that, I'm not really sure if it was an allergic reaction or if I was dehydrated. I don't know, I want the surgery, but its hard hard to stay strong when people fill your head with ideas you know?
