I feel like I am alone in my decision to have OPEN RNY.

Is there anyone else out there who has recently had OPEN RNY or are scheduled to have it done? I decided to have OPEN because that's what the doctor in my city offers and I completely trust him. I'm just wondering if it will be worth it to stay in town. thanks.
