How are people losing so much weight with the Lap Band so fast?

I had my surgery on 11/23/09 and have lost 34 lbs so far. But I lost 30 on the liquid part in 4 weeks, and since then I only lose about 1 pound a week. And I want to know what you are doing to lose weight so fast?
