insurance question????? help

i have an individual plan thru bc\bs and i know they will cover the surgery, but what i dont know is --- i have had the insurance only 2 months, i have a 1 year wait on all pre-existing medical conditions, but all new conditions coverage starts immediatley, so my question is will they consider my obesity, being overweight a pre-existing medical condition, because thats the only pre-existing condition i have,, thanks for the input!!!
