Anyone had severe heartburn after lap-band?

I had lap-band surgery on 8/15 and today I am experiencing horrible heartburn. I talked to the doctor's office - they suggested OTC mylanta or mallox - neither seem to be helping. I am very scared that this may be a band slippage. I would appreciate anyone that can share any experience they had with this after surgery.
