Dietitian-what if they don't agree with WLS as an option..how will that affect ins?

I am going through my 6 month Dr supervised diet and went to see a dietitian who is not very supportive of the surgury and feels doing it the old-fashioned way is the way to go. How will this affect my ins....my ins requires the Dr sup. diet with dietitian? Should I keep looking for a dietitian who is more supportive of the WLS?
