Does or did anyone have a problem with excess mucus PRE-op??

Did anyone have a problem with excess mucus or phlegm buildup in the throat or espophagus pre-op? (especially in the morning) I am wondering if this will get worse or better post op? It makes me nauseaus and sometimes I have to vomit it up.. like the "frothing", but I havenet had surgery yet! It only happend the last month as well as acid relux starting the last month.. Any input is appreciated.
