Can anyone recommend a good healthclub in the Greater Lowell Massachusetts area?

Embarrasingly enough I am pretty intimidated by the thought of going to Bally's with all the Barbies and Kens of the neighborhood. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
