Anyone know about Ileal Bypass?

Has anyone heard of Ileal Bypass? My Dr. is conferring with another Dr. about this due to past medical problems. He states this will help the triglycerides from being absorbed to stop me from getting Pancreatitis again. Wondering if the same as jj-ileum bypass.
