Type II Diabetics out there, do you suffer from hypoglycemic symptoms after surgery?

Dieting has been so unsuccessful for me up to now b/c cutting back on my calories enough to lose weight causes me to get weak, sweaty and shaky. I'm concerned that this may happen after my RNY surgery. Can anyone speak to this?
