it hurts to drink water

i am almost 4 weeks out from my ryn surgery, i have pain after i sip on water. i do ok with hot tea. but thats about all i can drink. i also have this problem with some foods. the pain is in between my belly button and my breasts. is this normal or do i need to keep on my doc? i mentioned it to him at my 2 week follow up and he didnt seem concerned. help!! this worries me. will i never be able to drink ice water again? or even tap water? i dont like drinking room temp water. oh i also belch alot. what am i doing wrong!!!
