Burning, Stabbing, Tearing pain on the left side...Help

I am three weeks out of gastric bypass and after my stitches were taken out I have a stabbing, tearing , burning pain on my left side. I am not able to move because of the pain and so I am not getting any walking in..has anyone experienced this pain and if so what helps.
